1. Download your desired Instagram template. They are shared as a pinned post in Writer's Web. 

2. Sign up for a free account on Canva.com. 

3. Search "Instagram post" in the search bar and select "Instagram Post (Square) 1080 x 1080px."

4. Select the "Create blank" template. 

5. Select "Upload" from the menu bar on the left, then select "Upload files." This lets you add your story cover and template to your Canva library. 

6. Click and drag the template onto the blank canvas. Once added, right-click the image and select "Set image as background."

7. Click and drag your cover image into the "YOUR COVER HERE" section.

8. After adding the cover, feel free to include any additional text, images, or effects to personalize your post. Make it your own!

9. To download your post, click "Share" at the top right of your screen, then select "Download."

10. Change the file type to JPG, then click "Download." 

Congratulations! You've successfully created an image for your Instagram post!
